Last year two girlfriends embarked on a journey to the Kimberley’s to experience a fun filled adventure.
The outcome was a better understanding of cultural differences, team work, an appreciation of the wilderness and strengthening of their friendship.
“Thelma & Louise expeditions” now wants to enable others to experience an adventure whilst raising money for a worthwhile cause.

Our Aspirations
1. Raise money and/or provide help for Ruth’s Women’s Shelter this year - subsequently each year we will choose another worthwile and relevant cause.
2. Draw attention to women’s issues i.e. our 'Journey' through lifes
phases -, from childhood to adolescence to adulthood and beyond, our
changing perceptions as we travel the path of self discovery
3. Highlight the beauty of Australia (at close proximity). Many women
don’t get the opportunity to get so 'up close and personal with nature' with busy lives and all the ‘mod cons’- we forget the importance of connecting with nature (and who knows? possibly even the universe).
4. An opportunity to gain some information about indigenous life.
Hopefully we will come away with a better appreciation for the rich
history and culture of the original inhabitants of the land, we hope to
have indigenous women come along on the trip with us, and stop in
indigenous communities when possible.
5. Invite women of all ages & background to join us
6. Benefit from the joint experience of laughter, love, adventure -
with care, tolerance and respect for others
