1. Erskine Falls

This is one of the most well-known waterfalls in the Otways. Just 10 minutes drive out of Lorne, you can reach the falls by taking an easy walk that will bring you to an overlook specially made for visitors to view the 30-metre cascading falls. Directly below the falls is a magnificent fern gully. If you wish to go to the base of the falls, there are steps you can take to go down there.

2. Teddy's Lookout

If you drive down towards the end of George Street, which is at the southern end of Lorne, you'll come upon Teddy's Lookout. Here, you will be able to take in the town's impressive views as well as the coastline that surrounds it. The lookout got its name from a local ranger who often went to the spot to round up his stray cattle.

3. Otway Fly

This is where you can find adventures that will feed your passion for thrill and the outdoors. Although you will find a broad range of activities to enjoy at the Otway Fly Treetop Adventures, there are two main activities here that draw in the crowd. These are the Zip Line Tour and the Treetop Walk. The 3.5 hour Zip Line tour is already a complete package that offers an hour for the Treetop Walk and 2.5 hours of activities pertaining to zip lining. Going for the Treetop Walk alone, on the other hand, will let you experience walking right into the treetops through the 300 metres high and 600 metres long walkway structured from steel with a treetop canopy.

4. Aire River to Johanna Beach Day Walk

This medium-grade 5-hour hike spans 12.4 kilometres, starts at the information shelter of Aire River and ends at the camp ground of Johanna Beach. Although quite long, the walk is very satisfying because it will take you through different terrain complete with views of the sea and spring flowers from heathlands. You can even spot a Peregrine Falcon or two soaring in the sky in the course of your walk.

When you get to Geelong as you drive down the Great Ocean Road, you will come upon this pleasant bakery café where you will not only get great coffee.   1. Just wonder in your experience what the broadband has been like in this area. This will be one of the first areas we will explore and as we will be working full time during the week and doing the tourist thing on weekends, i need the 3G network to work...

    • You should be fine on Telstra, Optus and Vodaphone but go to your providers website and check their coverage maps to be sure.
